Description

This depicts a scene from Episode VIII which featured the the exploits of the Jacobites in Carlisle. The pageant took place in a large open space called Bitts Park. This particular episode included a great many horses, as can be seen. The image has been kindly donated by Mr Ken Ogilvie who played the part of Bonnie Prince Charlie in the pageant. He can be seen in the photograph wearing the Prince's trademark white wig. The Prince (aka Ken) is on horseback fourth from the front of the procession.
