Summary

This pageant was first performed in 1989 and revived in the following year. In 1989 the director was Lloyd Quinan, an actor, director and television presenter, who was an MSP, representing the West of Scotland for Scottish National Party, from 1999 to 2003.

There is a 90-minute video of the 1990 version, directed by Billy McElhaney, on YouTube. The pageant was produced under the auspices of the Newcraighall Heritage Society.
