Summary
Historical pageants were popular with schools; this is an postwar example. While many such pageants commemorated anniversaries in the history of the school in question, this one was staged in association with the five hundredth anniversary of the incorporation of Tenterden into the Confederation of Cinque Ports. Unfortunately the project team have not yet examined a copy of the programme, but one can be found in the Centre for Kentish Studies.
